I tried to convert Disc 1 of Season 1 (Episodes 1-3) but sadly only Episode 1 converted correctly. Getting a lot of "is corrupt..." and "UNCORRECTABLE ERROR".
I've attached the log and was hoping for some input. I'm converting thru one of Billy's drives BDR-S13U with firmware update which is not restricted by region. The drive has worked flawlessly in other conversions just these Green Wing DVDs.
I do have a non Region specific 4K external DVD/BD player that has no problem playing these DVDs back on my NTSC based TV so the DVDs are "good" (i.e. not corrupted).
Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks for the response. The DVD plays fine in my ALL Region DVD/BD player, just makeMKV doesn't seem to like it ... yes, inspected the disc and tried cleaning but sadly no difference.
1 of the 3 episodes comes out fine. Episode 3 is partial (not complete). All the other outputs are smaller files and play in a repeat of what looks like DVD menu in a loop.
I'm guessing this error in the log: "Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR" is likely the problem. Perhaps some copy protection trickery?

Nah that's just a read error from a dirty or scratched disc clean the disc and then try.
Clean it with a damp lint free microfiber and then dry immediately with another to avoid water spots

I'd just like to offer my thanks for this advice as it has enabled me to rip 3 x UHD discs that previously failed to read fully! Thank you
You were correct, tried cleaning but still no go, so I put the disk under my scope and took some pics of the damage:

But yes you have a bad disk there. "Challenging", to say the least. Newest Makemkv has new damage workaround voodoo which seems to be very effective, might want to give it a try with the latest download but who knows..
I'll give it a go ... I used to use mild dishwasher (Dawn) liquid soap and water.

If you're still having issues try isopropyl alcohol, it has magical properties where it just lifts and evaporates everything off the surface.
Dish soap works ok but I reckon it leaves an invisible residue even after rinsing. Try washing your hands with dish soap, do they feel slightly different afterwards? More grippy and sticky perhaps?
I have noticed water can actually penetrate between the layers of the inner ring - alcohol just evaporates so quickly it doesn't have this issue.
