Hello all,
I recently ripped a handful of xmas acquisitions for the family gathering. However, MakeMKV consistently spits out several errors before failing when trying to rip Home Alone.
Home Alone Error
Re: Home Alone Error
Are the errors CONSISTENTLY at the same point, or variable around that point?
Consistently usually indicates that the disk has an error. Moving around often means the disk is shutting down after a while, often because MakeMKV tries to spin in faster than the drive can pull power for (USB configurations).

Re: Home Alone Error
As far as I can tell, it is exactly the same spot every time. I've tried to rip it 3 times now. If true that's a shame because I literally just opened it and the disc looks pristine. Is there another way to test the disc that you know of? I guess I'll have to try and watch the disc via VLC and see what happens.Woodstock wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 6:39 pmAre the errors CONSISTENTLY at the same point, or variable around that point?

I've had the same problem with my Home Alone Blu-ray.
