Apparently, with all I have seen I need to downgrade my firmware to the LG WH16NS60 1.02mk.
Though I can't seem to find that firmware anywhere.
Does any one know where I can find it or have it to share?

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum, but have been using MakeMKV for many years with my Pioneer BDR-UD03 1.05.
I would like to upgrade now to an external UHD player/master always slim to connect to my 2018 Mac Mini with Monterey 12.6.4 to read, rip and burn BD UHD.
What do you recommend me to buy to be problem free and start immediately?
Thank you.
Kind regards.

I upgraded my PC to a Mac and I am looking at the Pioneer BDR-XS07TUHD. I did all my own flashing on my Asus internal on my desktop and been using it for years.
The very first post on this thread is a little confusing on the Pioneer drives. If I pick up a Pioneer BDR-XS07TUHD will it work out of the box or do I need to find one with a manufacturing date older than 2023?
Thanks for your help with this.

So I got a Pioneer BD-RW- BDR-Xd07U
and it has revision 1.01 and the firmware date is fro 12-03-2018.
Should I upgrade it to 1.05 or leave it be?
Thanks
