Do you need to update the MakeMKV application itself to handle such discs, once someone figures out the needed decryption, or does MakeMKV "phone home" to get the new key without having to be updated?

How does MakeMKV work with UHDs?
MakeMKV uses Hashed Keys. Originally supplied via a download, MakeMKV now updates automatically. Go to View / Preferences / General and ensure that "Enable Internet access" is checked.

Don't attach it here. You should email it to svq@makemkv.com. There won't be any notifications about it, just retry your disc every few days.

I am also having an issue with MKB20_v77_Barbie_5BD50 not having a known volume key, so I emailed the dump file. Anyone having success with this particular disc?

EDIT: Something on my network was blocking the automatic SDF downloading. I installed a VPN and had no further trouble ripping this disk.

Got a volume key unknown error on the disc I just got.

Submitted MKB20_v77_Barbie_6D16.tgz yesterday.

I also got a volume key unknown error on two discs I got (I re-ordered a second to make sure the disc wasn't just faulty). I submitted MKB20_v77_Barbie_4EAA for the second disc I received, which had the same hash as the first. Must be a new disc specific key in my area.
