No sorry this won't happen, I have no desire in making the script works on OS that I'll never use.ekpen wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2023 3:06 pmhello:
Your scripts very easy to use with Windows OS.
your free time and discretion, have a Deb version ?.
My Windows PC messed up.
I would love to install on Ubuntu, Wine does not work well.
Thanks for the 600 rpu(s) you gave me access to a few months ago..
My files are all in mkv container.
Thanks.

Hi Reset_9999
I wanted to thank you for your great work and expertise.
and I wanted to ask if you could PM me. To see your video how to convert SDR to HDR.
My workflow is very long and cumbersome. and I think you have a better way. So I thought I'd just ask.

(3-1)
@RESET_9999
When using the updated script (3-1), do I need to generate a shot list file before running the script? At the moment if I just press enter, when prompted for the shot list, the script crashes after L5 input.

oops, I forgot to test the frame-by-frame options after I added external shot list support. Will fix in the next version.

if you dont provide a shot list file, yes the scene cuts detection takes forever.
You can use scene cuts from resolve and do the DV in CM_analyze.

CM_analyze took just over 15 hours. Perhaps it's just my setup?
How do I export the Resolve Scenecut data?

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I dont know, it takes about the same time as resolve on my end. rtx3070 + i9 13900ks
I noticed that if you touch your PC while analyzing, it gradually gets slower and can take hours.
In resolve, you import the prores file, do the DV analysis for just 1 frame, do the scene cut detection and export the XML.
The XML will have static metadata but it doesn't matter because we only want the scene cut file.

Reset may be you just could do one programm without drag and drop which don t work in any cases in windows 11 , here in makemkv we had one programm from grincola which work without darg and drop but this programm dont work with mkv 7 profile dolby vision and don t do subtitlesRESET_9999 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 2:04 pmI dont know, it takes about the same time as resolve on my end. rtx3070 + i9 13900ks

yes, it works. My own PC is on Windows 11.
Change back your Windows security settings to default and reboot.

I'm not sure but I don't think so.
FYI, in the next version, there will be an option to force the CPU for CM_analyze. It is slightly slower than with the cuda GPU but it seems more stable on speed.
