Weird iPhone changed in the version now Dolby Vision Profile 5 does not work, Dolby Vision Profile 8.1+HDR10 only play on HDR10, Dolby Vision Profile 8.4+HLG now there is already Dolby Vision. I already understood iOS 16.5 stopped Dolby Vision 5 and Vision 8.1+HDR10.

I've remuxed a DV title with MKVtoolnix, but when it comes to MakeMKV I keep getting errors.

And by the way SAME errors with both DV MP4/MKV sources.

Is there really nothing I can do about it?

It looks like the rip may be corrupted?

You can ignore the "Program reads data faster than it can write to disk," errors. The other errors are typically cause by the disc being dirty or damaged when it was ripped.

In mode 3-1, I got this "invalid Mastering Display index specified (ID:1000)" error in some video files, is it possible to manually choosing preset mastering displays or is there any workaround for this error????
I'm using this file as an example.

That file got invalid mastering display metadata.
In the next version, I'll make the script fallback to 1000/50/P3 by default when the source is missing metadata.

The Tools folder has only been available intermittently. You'll need to download them individually. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zZ9fV2 ... p=drivesdk, or keep an eye out for when they're available again.

3. Would it then be ok for me ot inject hte original RPU again from the P7 FEL version?

No need to convert to prores. Just make the avs script with 6-8-1, remove the subtitles/OSD and encode it directly in staxrip.
You have to convert the RPU to P8. Re-injecting the P7 rpu is wrong, it would be like applying FEL two times.

6-9 is just automated and the encoding settings are hardcoded (except for preset and crf value)
