CLI Argument to open MakeMKV with Specific Drive?
Is there a command-line argument that I can use to open the MakeMKV GUI with a specific drive? I'm aware of using SIngle Drive Mode, but what I'm looking for specifically is to be able to open MakeMKV with a specific drive via either the CLI or a Shortcut. For example, "makemkv.exe /d G:" or something to that affect. It's quite a chore dealing with six drives on one system and having to open each instance of MakeMKV and select each drive one by one. Especially if I need to modify something in the settings, then I've got restart all six instances again.

It's been a couple years, just wondering if this was ever added to MakeMKV?

You can specify which drive to open MakeMKV with, if you've enabled "open single drive".
In the Preferences menu, select "IO", and check "As for single drive mode". When you start MakeMKV, it will ask which drive to use, or "all".

I have 5 drives and would also like this feature. I wanted to make a batch script to launch 5 instances of MakeMKV, each locked to a specific drive.

Just use something like AutoIt to launch MakeMKV and select the desired drive.Mistar Muffin wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 9:35 pmI have 5 drives and would also like this feature. I wanted to make a batch script to launch 5 instances of MakeMKV, each locked to a specific drive.
