Not one to post normally, but just wanted to pop on here to say that I recently picked up the BU40N Archgon drive from Asmcom and I'm more than happy with it. If you're lurking and looking for something that will comfortably backup your 4K/UHD Blu-rays then I'd say go for it. Service was fantastic also, always happy to pay for the knowledge and experience of others!

Tested with the supplied USB-C cable on an M1 MacBook Pro and the supplied USB-A cable on an older 2019 iMac and all working perfectly for DVD/Blu-ray/4K Blu-ray in LibreDrive mode!

Great service received from Asmcom. Bought a drive over a year ago which I was having issues with in my new PC build. Asked for advice on what might be the problem and immediately offered to remote onto my desktop with teamviewer. We sorted this out and today he spent an hour trying various things. This was eventually solved by changing the SATA cable (DOH!), but in the process of troubleshooting he tweaked a few things and got the drive reading quicker than ever. Cheers
