LG 1C browser webOS AAC support 7.1, I checked it was a test done C mix L mix R mix Ls mix Rs mix Lb max Rb max LFE mix, it works there is sound.
Well, if you play a regular movie, of course, there will be sound in all the channels because the AVR upmix the channels.

But If you use the channel test file i posted on your C1 internal player, I would be surprised if the results were different than my C2.

yeah i forgot to remove the bitrate user input. Bitrate will always be 1024kbps with EAE...
did you try the beta3 1.6.0 ? I also added a cmd that lists the stream ID so you can choose the right one.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1L3oMCJ ... sp=sharing
I'll give the beta a shot today, thanks

Okay, good. I'll do it again wavs C.wav L.wav R.wav Ls.wav Rs.wav Lb.wav Rb.wav LFE.wav, VEGAS Pro make volume -59,9 dB C.wav L.wav R.wav Ls.wav Rs.wav LFE.wav, and volume 0 dB Lb.wav Rb.wav, DTS-HD Master Audio Suite, ffmpeg aac 7.1 on LG 1C it is running loudly Lb и Rb and C, L, R, Ls, Rs LFE sound no, so it works AAC 7.1 LG C1.

https://webostv.developer.lge.com/devel ... o-audio-60 AAC channels is unknown.

interestingly the C2 support lossless pcm with object audio(possibly truehd mat too) so I think i'm going to buy this EARC device (my avr is ARC) and hope Cavern add support for object based WAV from TrueHD input.(it can only do it for EAC3 right now)
https://github.com/VoidXH/Cavern
https://www.thenaudio.com/product/zone- ... processor/
MAT (MLP):
Max channels: 8
Supported sample rates (kHz): 48
Supports Dolby TrueHD, object audio PCM and channel-based PCM
Hash calculation not required for object audio PCM or channel-based PCM

RESET_9999 thanks for the 1.6.0 update. I'm getting EAC 7.1 with DTS:X now.

When using dee to encode hevc, how can we tell if forward reshaping has taken place what are the signs in the meta/Rpu to look for??
I assume if the adaptive reshaping flag is present/true it’s included in my meta can anyone answer??

Hi @RESET_9999, I was trying the new version of the script. I tried to convert DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 to DDP 7.1 via DEE, but apparently it doesn't work.
This is the log:

Code: Select all

Codec AVOption drc_scale (percentage of dynamic range compression to apply) specified for input file #0 (C:\Muxing\HungerGames_IlCantoDellaRivolta_pt2_UHD_t00_chunk.mkv) has not been used for any stream. The most likely reason is either wrong type (e.g. a video option with no video streams) or that it is a private option of some decoder which was not actually used for any stream.
Stream mapping:
  Stream #0:1 (dca) -> pan:default
  pan:default -> Stream #0:0 (pcm_s24le)
Press [q] to stop, [?] for help

I've created EAC3 7.1 files from THD with both EAE and DEE, mediainfo reports 7.1 channels for each. However, when I view the files in Plex, they are listed as EAC3 5.1. Is this the expected behavior? I do not have a device that can confirm current audio channels being played.

yes 7.1 coreless EC3 show as 5.1 in plex but it actually plays in 7.1.
I confirmed using this 7.1 Channel test file:
