Children of Men problems

I'm having problems trying to transcode Children of Men to MKV. The disc is flawless without a single scratch. I've tried many times. I'm able to actually rip it using Any DVD HD; but alas I still cannot transcode to MKV through that method either.

The source file 'BDMB/STREAM/0000t.mts' is corrupt or invalid at ..... attempting to work around.

Any idea?

Please make a full disc backup with MakeMKV per http://www.makemkv.com/faq/item/4/catid/4 and see if any hashcheck errors show up to rule out physical disc problems. If no Hashcheck errors, then plase do http://www.makemkv.com/faq/item/8/catid/6 .

Thanks. Looks like letting MakeMKV backup the disc and then transcode worked. Why wouldn't it work the normal way?
