SVC CODE : NS55

Can I still use the WH16NS60 1.02MK firmware ?
---> But, I have too, this firmware : HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.03-NM00600-212005081010 and of course, this firmware : HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.02-NM00100-211810291936 !

First, I will flash with this firmware : HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BH16NS60-1.02-NM00600-212005081014 or with HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.02-NM00100-211810291936 ?

I have a little trouble understanding...

So, if I have problem to burn, I will flash with this firmware : HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BH16NS55-1.05-NM00400-212004211049 ?

I must use SFD Tool Flasher v1.2.3 to flash ?

You are fine. Instead of LG 1.05 - if it doesn't work for burning - I would flash Asus 3.10 MK.

Finally, I've just flashed my burner with the "HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.02-NM00100-211810291936" firmware ! ^^
---> All is ok with Make MK ! (Fortunately ! ^^ lol)

However, with DVD-Fab, I have this message :

Failed to open disk due to hostile firmware installed on this drive.
To continue, you can use our new UHD Drive Tool to downgrade the firmware to make it compatible for backing up UHD drives.

Well, that's normal since the firmware used has been patched especially for Make MKV ! ^^

But I find it a shame not to be able to use another software if you want...

Ripper compatibility 1.00 supports all UHD rippers except for anydvd

Why did you release firmware 1.02 then ? It does not add anything more compared to 1.00 ?

i didnt release it lg did
and it made thing harder to downgrade no matter what you need to go to 1.02 first if you have the same or newer version i say to use it because its one step and done no matter what firmware you are on and i assume people on makemkv use makemkv

I use Make MKV, I'm just talking about DVD-Fab because I wanted to test and I don't use it.
In fact I was talking about DVD-Fab to leave the choice to the users...

If I need software to compress or just remove a soundtrack (or several) while keeping the menu and the bonuses
then I use (and of course I recommend) the very good BD Rebuilder! ^^

So, my LG was flashed with the WH16NS60 firmware version 1.02 MK and all are OK !
