Does the DVD play properly on your computer?

Does the DVD play properly on a standalone DVD player?

Check for physical damage and or dirt. Try cleaning the disc.

It's a rip I did a while back. Plays fine.

Try re-ripping your original, commercial DVD DIRECTLY (and ONLY) with MakeMKV...

Got it to work by converting to ISO using:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/aquaiso/

Then using MakeMKV.

Note choose the parent folder of the Video_TS folder while using AquaISO and not the acvtual Video_TS folder.

Did you retry (without creating an .ISO image file) with MakeMKV pointed to your hard drive folder as: Opening files on harddrive at /Volumes/Movies/Artificial Inteligence/ (WITHOUT "VIDEO_TS")?
