After manually reviewing the M2TS files the correct playlist for my copy is 706.

Segment list: 505 + 507 + 500 + 504 + 503 + 506 + 509

Thanks. 706 looks to be right. No audio sync & frame drop messages in MakeMkv.

I always get confused with playlist vs title numbers. FWIW the correct title number is 132, MPLS playlist is 706.

NO - never use title numbers! They are dynamically generated as MakeMKV reads a disc, based on MakeMKV settings.

On the same disc, title numbers will vary depending on how a user's MakeMKV is configured. Different users may have have MakeMKV configured differently.

MPLS playlists are actually files on the disc - they are constant no matter how MakeMKV is configured.

The only reason your MakeMKV configuration shows it as title 132 is because you set this (or similar) in the Preferences, and this is not the default:
