Hello,
i havnt ripped in several months. during that time i updated my mac os to 10.15.7. i tried mkv and sucessfully ripped a bluray tried a 4k....it wasnt very happy. I forgot to get the log.(ill grab it next) I thought to check for a mkv update and there was one. Updated tried the 4k again and still wasnt working.
question.1
before I get deeper is there any chance the drivers changed or got updated for the 4k friendly drives ( I have asus and Lg)? Both arent stable or working for 4k.
question 2
Is theres any compatibility issues with mac 10.15.7 and MKV that Im unaware of?
question 3
Are the newest and last builds of MKV equal in stablity?
just trying to trouble shoot and eliminate what I can. thanks in advance.
logs I Just took from LG
