Is my drive UHD Friendly?

Part of my label has come off on my Drive, from searching my drive BH16NS40 seems to be compatible, but I've also read that some version aren't.

Is there any way for me to test?... I have put a UHD disc in and it just spins = no read.... Not sure if I need to flash it first though?

Load a regular bluray. Start MakeMKV. What does MakeMKV display in the Info window, under LibreDrive information?

MakeMKV says you're LibreDrive compatible, and LD is running.

But your drive pre-dates UHD, so the hardware doesn't do UHD (need late 2015 at the EARLIEST for UHD capability).

So, your final answer is "No".
