Greetings!
I need your help. I am sorry if this issue was already discussed, unfortunately I was not able to find solution here.
Using MacBook Pro 14 on M2 Max. Sonoma 14.2.1
Pioneer BD-RW BDR-XD07 drive
MakeMKV gives following information:
Drive Information
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-XD07
Revision: 1.03
Serial number: TKDL021217UC
Firmware date: 2020-08-20
Bus encryption flags: 13
Highest AACS version: 65
LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS8D30
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-BDS7
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: 1.03
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes
As I understand, it should be able to read 4K UHD movies? I tried multiple titles but it won't read any of them.
Thank you for your help in advance.

I don't believe that this particular model is UHD-friendly unless you can cross-flash it to BDR-XD07UHD.georgespecter wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 8:01 pmDrive Information

Happily, your firmware pre-dates December 2022 and so I believe such cross-flashing should be possible.
Please don't attempt to flash your drive without first consulting someone who knows precisely what to do.
