Have sent a query to Asmcom about this, but does anyone know if they still offer licence keys for MakeMKV (as per thread title) as I couldn't find any option to add this to an order.

Secondly, their product page for the BDR-XS07TS mentions an "Optional External Power Supply (Strongly Recommended)" but with no visible way to purchase this. Anyone have any experience of whether this is needed and where to get it?

The main problem is that since the site wasn't updating the items, there were probably more orders than there were actually available. How will this work? Will the order be fulfilled for those who paid first (due to the link issue) or will the order be fulfilled based on the order number?

I say this because I placed two orders within seconds of each other, but they differ in number by 38, so there were 38 orders between the two? Sure, there are other items, but it's more likely that the orders were for the three Pioneer drives.

No, that was not our problem. The main issue was that many customers were placing orders for **three or four drives when they only required one**. They believed that ordering multiple models would increase their chances of securing a drive.

As a result, we had to process and respond to **over 700 individual emails**, only to be told in most cases that the customer wanted just one unit. This created a **huge and unnecessary workload** and significantly slowed down our ability to serve everyone efficiently. If customers had ordered only what they genuinely needed, we would have been able to complete **far more orders in a much shorter time**.

I have been dealing with this since **4:00 am this morning and it is now 11:43 pm**, working continuously to keep on top of the volume.

In addition, Pioneer mistakenly sent us a box of drives that were intended to be returned to Japan due to faults. To their credit, they apologised and issued a refund. Fortunately, because **we thoroughly test every single drive**, these issues were identified before any faulty units reached customers.

Asmcom, do any have any of the ASUS BW-16D1HT with original firmware (or hardware version) that is v3.11 and not v3.10 or are all the drives you have fixed to do UHD ?

Forget about the stupid 3.11 ASUS firmware. It will have no benefit.

Correct Cooprvid, Newer is usually worse, when it comes to Blu-ray Drives.

Yes, that is what I want to know to.

How many orders where places and are there units for all the orders. Mine was 64 so feels a bit odd the number system.

We have deliberately held back a small number of drives. In several cases, customers ordered four drives but only required one, which has left us with some remaining stock. These units have **not been advertised**, as our priority is to support customers whose orders were cancelled and who were **not offered an alternative drive**.

asmcom will surely be sorting everything out and will go for the order number, let's wait and see

After my payment got refunded earlier I tried placing an order for one of the cheaper drives still showing as "10+ in stock" and didn't receive a payment link email at all, so something must have gone wrong with the website behind the scenes, yeah.
