We will add Thailand to our shipping list, as well as the Czech Republic, based on a request from another customer. We should have this done for Monday 24th March 2025.

Hi Asmcom, do you think there will be any more Pioneer BDR-X13E-S available? I was considering buying one for a friend as I already bought two for myself :D
How about the elusive BDR-X13E-X?

Thank you for your great resource!
Yes,I have one with your name on it.

Send me a PM here so we know your name.

@Asmcom

My BDR-XS07U arrived today (ordered Tuesday).

Just started ripping my Frasier box set for transfer to the NAS. Appears to be working like a charm, and noticeably quicker than the old one.

Many thanks.

Great to hear that all went well. I plan to watch this series some time. I know it has been around for years but I have not got round to watching it yet. Wishing you well with your new Libre-Drive Friendly Blu-ray Slot Loader drive.

Have a nice weekend.

Hello ascom,

I'm new to the forum, but I'd like to thank you for your tireless work.

I would like to purchase the BDRS13E, but unfortunately it's sold out.
My question is:
If I were to purchase the drive with the Vantec case, would both the original Pioneer packaging and the original Vantec case packaging be included in the package I would receive? And all the accessories from the original packaging?

I'm asking because the drive is pre-assembled in the case.
And since I like to keep my original packaging, also to resell old hardware, I'd like to know.

Is it likely that the BDRS13E drive will be available for sale separately again in the near future?

Best regards,
RetroMasterUser
Subject: Pioneer Drive Order and Vantec DX2 Enclosure Offer

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, we can certainly use a larger box and include all the original packaging, which we still have available. Please note that this will increase the postage cost.

Regarding the Vantec DX2 Enclosure, £20 extra is an excellent deal. If you decide to proceed with your order, kindly email us using the link on the shopping cart page, and we will advise you on the additional shipping charge.

We would also like to mention that Pioneer drives are becoming increasingly difficult to source, so securing one now could be a wise decision.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Kind regards,
Asmcom
Good Evening,

order is placed and confirmed.

Thank you and Hayley for your support.

Now I can hardly wait to receive the package

The Pioneer BDR-XS07TUHD can be mounted vertically, and we currently have these models in stock, on our website. It’s one of my favourite drives, known for its exceptionally quiet operation.

To preserve the longevity of your Blu-ray Writer drive, I highly recommend using MakeMKV to create a file if you plan to play movies regularly. Playing discs directly on the drive can lead to premature wear. With MakeMKV, you can easily read all your 4K discs and create a MKV or ISO file using Imgburn. You can then manage and play your content without further strain on the drive and preserve your drive for future use.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

Kind Regards,

Asmcom

I'm sure this has been answered, I just can't find it, and I did try to send a PM to asmcom, but I guess I don't get to PM people if I haven't posted in the forum before?

ANYWAY, is the only difference between the BDR-X13E-X and the BDR-X13E-S the fact that the X is internal and the S is external? I'd love to order one!

Thanks in advance to asmcom and all in the forum

Hi,

I was hoping to order the Pioneer BDR-S13E-X but it is out of stock. Can you tell me if you will be getting more?

If there are none on the way, can you suggest an alternative? I have always liked a full external drive, but I guess that isn't really necessary. In fact, I'd perhaps be more interested in a quiet drive that rips 4k or standard Blu-Ray as quickly as possible. I'm just building a NAS and I have a lot of discs to back up. :D

Thanks in advance,

Peter

Hi,

New to all this.
I've seen the Pioneer BDR-UD04 on the store. Would this be fine for 4k UHD HDR discs?
Whats the main difference between this drive and some of the others that are twice, even nearly three times the price?

Cheers,
Callum

New to ripping. I have a MacBook Pro with the M4 chip that I’ll be using. An external drive would be needed of course. I would like to rip my 4K, Blu-ray and the hundreds of 3D movies to a more stable digital format. Also would be nice if I could just watch a movie on the Macs display.

I saw you had nothing for sale on eBay and am hoping you might be getting more? I live in the state of Washington , US.

Thanks!
