Greetings. I'm VERY new to this. I'm looking to buy a blu ray drive to rip discs, including 4k UHD discs.

1. What are the best drives to purchase (makes and models)?
2. Which have the least difficulty accepting libredive firmware (makes and models)?
3. Price is an issue, but right no I'm just interested in knowing what works best and easiest.

I appreciate any help! Don't want to waste my time and money.

I have an M2 Mac running sequoia 15.5. I can also run a windows VM, if that makes a difference.

Thanks!!!

Check for a 212V Vinpower Pioneer on Newegg or Amazon. Supplies are drying out.
