Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
Damm.
I've had it for too long unfortunately. Oh well, perhaps a unlocked f/w will appear at some time in the future.
Thanks anyway.

Hello I just started ripping blu-rays again after a two year hiatus and it looks like there has been some changes with pioneer drives. I posted the details for the original drive I got for ripping UHD disk. I want to make sure that my firmware is still supported. It appears to be so judging by the date. What is the latest version I can update my drive to while still keeping Libredrive support and also is there anything I can do to help since I have the original firmware for this drive?

Re: LibreDrive for Pioneer drives
soo I got myself a BDR-209, I want to crossflash it to the 211 to be able to read UHD disks. However, I cannot find the firmware as I am not able to dump it and the firmware download from pioneer for the 1.53 gives me a 404. Can someone assist?bdjump2711 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 11:28 amHi!
Im fairly new to the topic and also this forum...
In the initial post of this topic, it is stated that the BDR-207 drives from pioneer would likely stay unsupported. I have such a device and would like to know if there is anything I could help with to make this drive supported for UHD BluRays (normal DVD and BluRays work like a charm tho). It is a Pioneer BDR-207EBK with very old firmware and should be Triple-Layer BD compatible, at least it's got the BdXL mark on it.
[...]
Edit: Or is there a better way to make the BDR-209 UHD ready?
