Pioneer BDR-XD07UHD - The Fall Guy 4K Extended

Post by SeaLight »

I've been previously able to rip UHD discs (Jurassic World: Dominion, Maverick, etc.) but I just went to rip The Fall Guy's extended version in 4K and I just got a message that I haven't previously seen and it won't let me rip it. Any help here?
Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive
Saved AACS dump file as /Users/eric/Library/MakeMKV/MKB20_v77_The_Fall_Guy_-_Extended_Cut_56A0.tgz
LibreDrive compatible drive is required to open this disc - video can't be decrypted.

MakeMKV says that "the volume key is unknown for this disc"?
MakeMKV produces an AACS .tgz dump file whenever you try to open a disc for which the key is unknown, and will report that the dump has been created. Email the dump file to svq@makemkv.com.
I submitted a dump, how long does it take?
Once submitted, the turnaround can be pretty fast, between 12 to 48 hours. However, it can also sometimes take several days or longer.
When you submit a dump, ensure that:
- You are using the latest version of MakeMKV.
- You are using a LibreDrive-enabled drive (be it "friendly" or "official", but it must be LibreDrive enabled).
- You have "Enable Internet access" enabled in Preferences (in the General tab), so that MakeMKV will check for updated keys when you try to open the disc again.
- You are opening the original disc (not a backup, not ISO).
- You are opening the disc using a real disc drive natively (no elby clonedrive, no vmware, no dvdfab or discsoft virtual, etc).

Why aren't you posting this in the Fall Guy 4K disks thread?

I'm having the same issue.

Fall Guy 4K (US) from Amazon, both Extended and Theatrical discs fail to even load all titles, erring out with OS Errors scrolling in the MakeMKV log.

Is there still a pending update that will address this title?
