What do I do next to make it so I can rip UHD? This is my first time doing something like this
You cannot rip UHD using BP50NB40 firmware. It is not capable. You now need to cross-flash it to BP60NB10 1.00-MK firmware.FatNFuri0us1 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 12:58 amWhat do I do next to make it so I can rip UHD? This is my first time doing something like this

Okay so I found the 1.00 version and it did the same thing. When I press okay it flashes something but nothing changes. Anyway, when you press OK on the handshke message does it work?
Is your drive SVC NB40, NB50 or NB52?
NB52 is the issue. It can be done just a slightly different way.FatNFuri0us1 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 11:37 pmOkay so I found the 1.00 version and it did the same thing. 1. Select the RECOVERY option in SDFtool flasher.
2. Choose the current BP50NB40 1.03-MK firmware in the popup.
3. Select the BP60NB10 firmware in the normal drop box.
4. START
If it still doesn't work, do the same again but check the "boot loader" box. Let me know how you go.
It's just the same error again. “Desktop drive handshake failed with error=0x82000000, trying slim drive handshake...”MartyMcNuts wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 9:58 pm@Astrogoth64, @FatNFuri0us1,
Here is the complete process that has worked for a BP50NB40 with SVC NB52.
1. Flash the drive to BP50NB40 1.03-MK.
2. Flash the drive again to BP50NB40 1.03-MK, this time checking the "bootloader" box.
Now for the crossflash:
3. Select the RECOVERY option and in the pop up, select the BP50NB40 1.03-MK firmware that you just flashed.
4. Select the BP60NB10 1.00-MK firmware in the normal drop box.
5. Click START
what marty is saying should work i have done it you maybe doing a step wrong.FatNFuri0us1 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 12:14 am

Get the auto flasher. It worked like a charm for only $25Astrogoth64 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 7:10 pmIll take any advice you have. Mine is stuck at 60/10 1.02 and wont flash to a lower firmware or recover. No errors mentioned but no drive access and no disc drawer opening either.
Thanks
