Furiosa a Mad Max Saga

Post by Bentley0227 »

I have searched the forum and chatgpt. I have downloaded keydb.cfg and put it in the directory folder and restarted and still nothing.
MakeMKV v1.18.1 win(x64-release) started
Using LibreDrive mode (v06.3 id=7FA2657C7667)
Using direct disc access mode
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\b3ntl/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v77_Furiosa-_A_Mad_Max_Saga_7079.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc
Using LibreDrive mode (v06.3 id=7FA2657C7667)
Backing up disc into folder "E:/Video/backup/FURIOSA_A_MAD_MAX_SAGA"
Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\b3ntl/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v77_FURIOSA_A_MAD_MAX_SAGA_7079.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Backup failed

Not sure what's going on. It's a brand new copy.

Read the Hashed Keys section of the UHD FAQ.

Also, please email your dump to svq@makemkv.com.

There's an alternative key mechanism that you could try called keydb.cfg (https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=162444#p162444)

I emailed the files. Before I posted this, I tried the alternate keys, but they didn't work.

The KEYDB.cfg file is a "fallback database", which MakeMKV can use (if available) when it cannot find your disk in its own "hashed keys" database. But there's no guarantee that KEYDB.cfg will contain your disk either :).

Emailing your TGZ dump file to svq@makemkv.com allows MakeMKV to add your disk to the "hashed keys". Also providing your dump here potentially allows The Power That KEYDB to add your disk to KEYDB.cfg too.
