Could you also post the TGZ dump file here please? E.g. by providing a download link? This may help with KEYDB... ;)

Thank you for providing a disc dump file.

Unfortunately disc dumps generated with Pioneer drives are not particularly useful for the keydb. Would you happen to have a LibreDrive compatible LG or Asus drive? If so, please generate a new dump file and post it here.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other Blu-ray players besides my Verbatim 43888. I hope others will provide additional disc dumps generated with other players.
I read that you can tell if a key has been created by looking in the KEYDB.cfg file for the movie's AACS hash number.
In any case, thanks for your help.

Yes, the DiscId in KEYDB.cfg is the SHA1 hash of the disk's AACS/Unit_Key_RO.inf file. However, MakeMKV can only use KEYDB entries which contain a Volume Unique Key (VUK) field, i.e. "| V |".

I don't believe this key has been added to the public KEYDB yet. More likely, it has been added to MakeMKV's "hashed keys" database instead.

Okay, thanks for the clarification, I'm not a specialist in this area.
