Does your Bluray Disc input contain at least 1 DTS or THD english track?
I know some discs only have LPCM audio and this is not supported "yet".
which BD is it?

right, DEE applies some DRC and it can't be disabled. It also inverts the side and back channels. What a joke Dolby, you're really the new Apple...
yes this is something I wanted to implement but I forgot about it.mad83 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 8:14 amHi,
@RESET_9999,
could it be possible to implement in muxing path (7,1,1) information about audio delay (negative/positive) due to fact that other audio languages could have some delays.
I mean to be possible to set delay for audio before muxing mp4 file with DV.
I have LG 1C eARC SN11R, PCM 8 channels to play only music and no voice, there are 6 channels left sleeping. FLAC 8 channels, only music and no voice, there are 6 channels left sleeping. AAC-LC and EAC3 full channels 8 and 6 to play. No plex, I have a website using the browser DASH and HLS.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 11:05 amright, DEE applies some DRC and it can't be disabled. It also inverts the side and back channels. I'll look into adding an AAC 7.1 workflow but my only problem is that the LG TVs only support 5.1 channels with AAC tracks.

did you try the channel test mkv I just shared?legosoff wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 12:24 pmI have LG 1C eARC SN11R, PCM 8 channels to play only music and no voice, there are 6 channels left sleeping. yeah i forgot to remove the bitrate user input. Bitrate will always be 1024kbps with EAE...FrostByte wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 12:56 pm@RESET_9999
Been using the EAE option (6.3.8 ) to create EAC 7.1 tracks at 1024kbps and it seems to be working well. Thanks
Noticed the output looks like filename_7.1_.ec3
Just curious so I looked at Workflow.8 and it wants to put %bitrate% after the last underscore, but I don't see where it's supposed to get bitrate from which is always null. Internally it seems to default to 1024 just fine, so it's just the filename I guess
No mkv, safari browser not support mkv, mp4 only. LG 1C browser webOS AAC support 7.1, I checked it was a test done C mix L mix R mix Ls mix Rs mix Lb max Rb max LFE mix, it works there is sound.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 1:29 pmdid you try the channel test mkv I just shared?legosoff wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 12:24 pmI have LG 1C eARC SN11R, PCM 8 channels to play only music and no voice, there are 6 channels left sleeping. On my LG C2, all the audio tracks pass the 7.1 test except AAC.
Also, the C2 EDID reports AAC support at max 5.1 while EAC3 it says 7.1.
Well, if you play a regular movie, of course, there will be sound in all the channels because the AVR upmix the channels.
I'll give the beta a shot today, thanksRESET_9999 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 1:32 pm

did you try the beta3 1.6.0 ? I also added a cmd that lists the stream ID so you can choose the right one.

Okay, good. I'll do it again wavs C.wav L.wav R.wav Ls.wav Rs.wav Lb.wav Rb.wav LFE.wav, VEGAS Pro make volume -59,9 dB C.wav L.wav R.wav Ls.wav Rs.wav LFE.wav, and volume 0 dB Lb.wav Rb.wav, DTS-HD Master Audio Suite, ffmpeg aac 7.1 on LG 1C it is running loudly Lb и Rb and C, L, R, Ls, Rs LFE sound no, so it works AAC 7.1 LG C1.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 2:06 pmWell, if you play a regular movie, of course, there will be sound in all the channels because the AVR upmix the channels.
But If you use the channel test file i posted on your C1 internal player, I would be surprised if the results were different than my C2.
interestingly the C2 support lossless pcm with object audio(possibly truehd mat too) so I think i'm going to buy this EARC device (my avr is ARC) and hope Cavern add support for object based WAV from TrueHD input.(it can only do it for EAC3 right now)legosoff wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 2:37 pmOkay, good.
