I suspect the lowercase one contains BDMV/META/DL/bdmt_*.xml files, whereas the other one does not. I don't know why MakeMKV sometimes excludes the bdmt_*.xml files from the dump, but it's a minor point in the bigger picture . The more cosmetic details can be added to the KEYDB.cfg entry by running "findvuk validate" against a copy of the physical UHD disk.

Vury inturresting. Good to know, but it seems findvuk is windows-only, and vukextract seems to rely on a non-existent linux build of dvdfab (and is also 9 years old). Maybe I could pass through my drive to a windows vm and run it there? But it doesn't look like there's any good way to do this natively on linux. C'est la vie...

FindVUK runs fine inside wineconsole:
