Just bumping this, has anyone resolved it?

Installed JRE but when I try to open the disc it spits out errors non stop and the timer just goes up and up.

It won't let me attach the TGZ file or txt files as it is too long but they can be found here

Can you adjust the "Share" option for that folder please, so that people can access it?

Thanks, and can you also add the full MKB_RO.inf file from your UHD disk to that folder please? The MKB_RO.inf file inside the TGZ dump file has been truncated to only 56 bytes, which makes it unusable to anyone except MakeMKV itself.

Your drive seems to be struggling to read that disk properly for some reason. It appears to enable LibreDrive correctly:

Code: Select all

...
SDF v0a5: PIONEER_BD-RW___BDR-211M_1.53_QIDL107616WL
001011:0000 Using LibreDrive mode (v02.1 id=6FBA38990396)
003007:0000 Using direct disc access mode
005085:0000 Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
...
but then runs into difficulty:

Code: Select all

002003:0000 Error 'Internal error - Operation was cancelled (140)' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00589.m2ts' at offset '37269504'
and

Code: Select all

001003:0020 DEBUG: Code 0 at 3FirBS;l\AtCiaA}:29398070
002004:0000 Error 'OS error - nt:8701003a' occurred while issuing SCSI command 4602010D0..010 to device 'SPTI:\Device\CdRom0'
001003:0020 DEBUG: Code 0 at ek0A`ekmmj7(oPSno;:213130237
003306:0000 Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive
Have you tried gently cleaning your disk? Or maybe using a different UHD drive?

Thanks for explaining it. I’ve tried gently cleaning with a microfibre but still no luck.

I only have the one drive, the only other disk it flat out refused to open was disc one of The Penguin.

Where can I find the RO file?

The MKB_RO.inf file is in the disk's AACS/ directory, assuming Windows File Explorer can open it. It should be several MB in size.

One other thing: can you also create a new discatt.dat file for this disk please? You would do this by asking MakeMKV to create an encrypted back-up of this UHD disk into a temporary directory. Once the discatt.dat file appears (and it should be one of the very first files created) then you can copy it to a safe place and abort the back-up. This discatt.dat file should contain the rest of the information missing from your TGZ dump file.
