This one still isn't working. Not sure if it's because I did rename the file when I put it into my Dropbox. The file that MakeMKV creates is named "MKB20_v82_UHD_SPT2_87EA.tgz".
Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV?
Yep that was it. I thought MakeMKV would grab the new keys automatically. Thanks!

MakeMKV does download its keys automatically :). The KEYDB.cfg file is an alternative key database which MakeMKV can use, if you provide it with a copy. In this case KEYDB has managed to acquire your key before MakeMKV's own "hashed keys" database, which allows you to unlock your disk earlier.

Thanks to everyone who provided new disc dumps. It is also great to see the submission template being followed so well. All submitted UHD disc dumps have been added to the public keydb. The following titles corresponded to new media keys:

Code: Select all

MKB20_v82_Barry_Lyndon_EC36
MKB20_v82_MaXXXine_UHD_1F48
MKB20_v82_Nobody_2_E81A
MKB20_v82_Out_of_Africa_9BE2
MKB20_v82_Pearl_UHD_1758
MKB20_v82_The_New_Avengers_-_S1_D5_7808
MKB20_v82_Ticks_65DA
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
  • LG/Buffalo/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
  • Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
  • If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

Dump file for The New Avengers (TV Series) - Disc 1
This dump isn't usable because it was not created from the original UHD disk. It looks like you have copied the files to your hard drive, and then created a TGZ dump file from that, which unfortunately means it is missing some important metadata.

Can you create a new dump from the actual disk please?

I've uploaded a dump file created direct from disc using Asus drive
Thanks for doing this. Can you also do the same for Disc 1 please, because the dump already provided for Disc 1 is also unusable for the same reason :(.

Sorry about that. I submitted the first disc and then ripped the rest of the discs in backup mode ready for when keys became supported. I didn't realise that the key would be missing if not ripped direct from the disc instead of from opening the backup on a drive. I've sorted it now and here is the proper file from the disc.

Thank you both for following the submission template. Your discs have been added to the public keydb.

Don't post disc dump files generated with the BDR-UD04 (Pioneer Verbatim 43888) to this thread. The obfuscation in LibreDrive makes those disc dump files useless to everyone outside of the MakeMKV team.

If you have a suitable LG/Asus drive feel free to generate a new disc dump file and post it to this thread.

Hey Mike, S1D5 was added to the public keydb a few hours ago. Grab the latest public keydb and you'll be good to go. If you have any issues with the other discs feel free to generate new disc dumps from the actual discs and post them to this thread.

Thanks for this :). Could you also recreate the TGZ dump for your Disk 1 please? And perhaps also provide dumps for Disks 2-4 as well?
