Your disc was added to the public keydb on October 24 last year so it has been fully supported for almost 11 months.
To be fair, MakeMKV own database has almost certainly supported this disk for the past 11 months too. I'm actually astonished that MakeMKV even generated a TGZ dump file here in the first place?! Usually, this would imply that MakeMKV could not enable LibreDrive, except that doesn't seem to be the case either.

Hey chucky527c, thanks for the new disc dump. The 8E44 variant of The Sound of Music has been added to the public keydb.
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
  • LG/Buffalo/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
  • Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
  • If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

Every single one of those discs has been supported by the public keydb since September 13. Why didn't you try the latest keydb before posting 10 new links to the thread?

I really feel like I'm wasting my time being subscribed to this thread when people can't be fucked to read the first post carefully.

Have you tried using SamuriHL's KEYDB Helper tool? This can update your local KEYDB.cfg file and install it into MakeMKV's data directory for you, allowing you to keep everything up-to-date.

Welcome to the club! :D

I suggest you modify your last sentence of the first post in bold colored letters and add: Run Findvuk-synchronize frequently to add the newest keys! If on Windows use KeyDBHelper which also puts a copy of keydb.cfg in the .Makemkv directory and saves you that step.

Sorry about that, first time doing this and I just searched the forum for postings with the titles in them, not the keydb itself. It's understandable how the repeats are frustrating though. My bad, just a newbie trying to be helpful. Don’t worry though, not much chance I’ll try again anytime soon! Appreciate the work you do regardless. Thanks!

Thank you, I wasn't aware of this. Trying it out now. Seems to make the process much easier!

Or just before trying to decrypt a new disk?

You are right and actually that's what I'm doing. Run the update before inserting a disc.
