I believe this disk was added to the pubic KEYDB.cfg file a couple of weeks ago.
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Thank you, I'm getting an incorrect key message using the keydb helper tool, here are the logs:
17:33:41 - Potentially invalid UnitKey >7ED09A6DA8AA86E619A70B7D8E1053E9<
17:33:41 - Unfortunately no candidate to get a correct unit key >7ED09A6DA8AA86E619A70B7D8E1053E9<
17:33:41 - There are still 6 files that cannot be decoded with the provided unit keys!
17:33:41 - Validation failed - VUK/UnitKeys are INVALID!!!!!!!
I'm new to this, completely possible I missed a step
-ETA This was fixed by giving the disc a good rub with a mircrofiber cloth and power cycling my drive a couple tames. Thank you for the help!

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
I'm guessing you used the Validate button? That's a FindVUK error stating that it couldn't validate the unit keys. And indeed for whatever reason there does seem to be a problem with this one. You'll have to wait for someone who knows more to look at that dump cause something's definitely odd.
EDIT: Could this be one of those stupid discs that has an AACS directory but isn't actually encrypted? Try creating an encrypted backup with MakeMKV, then in the folder you backed up to rename or delete the AACS directory and see if MakeMKV can open the folder.

The discatt.dat file in your dump doesn't appear to contain the VolumeID.RTyphoon wrote: ↑Wed Jul 30, 2025 3:29 pmhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1kz504s ... drive_link

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Hey RTyphoon, could you please power cycle your drive and re-generate the disc dump?
When you see this line in your log it means that LibreDrive has freaked out and you will need to power cycle your drive:
Code: Select all
Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
- LG/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
- Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
- If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

Station Eleven 3-disc UHD set
As a note I see the same "Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive" as above but I see that even with power cycling. I also tried to reflash just to see if that fixed it and it still shows up although I didn't remove it from power afterwards so maybe? Also saw it with a different UHD but regular blu-rays are fine.

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Your dumps are no good. There's no VolumeID in the discatt.dat files. You need to ensure libredrive is enabled when generating dumps. It appears MakeMKV didn't enable it for some reason this time. You should power cycle your drive and possibly PC.raincollector123 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 4:53 amStation Eleven 3-disc UHD set

I checked disc 2 and it is already in the latest KeyDB database. If you download it and extract it to the MakeMKV data directory (where the dumps are) you should be able to rip it. I also see a record for disc 1 and disc 3 so they may be the same as your discs too.
Cheers

Re: Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
Thanks for providing this dump file. You appear to have created it using a Verbatim 43888 drive containing a Pioneer BDR-UD04 device, which makes some of its information unreadable by anyone except MakeMKV itself. Would you happen to have access to a non-Pioneer UHD drive please?

Thanks for the disc dump supentamin, your disc has been added to the public keydb. In the future please use a file host (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive etc) instead of forum attachments.supentamin wrote: ↑Thu Jul 31, 2025 5:21 amSaved AACS dump file as C:\Users\wjwkr/.MakeMKV/MKB_v82_BD_ROM_67B8.tgz

Hey kevin040474, please re-read the instructions in the first post. I was very clear that disc dumps generated by Pioneer drives are not helpful and no dump should be supplied as a forum attachment.kevin040474 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 12:15 amHere is my Dump File for Sinners Ver. Did you actually completely power down the drive? Reflashing a drive which has previously worked with MakeMKV is never productive.raincollector123 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 01, 2025 4:53 amAs a note I see the same "Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive" as above but I see that even with power cycling. As soon as you see the error message "Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive" you can just delete the generated disc dump files as they are useless.
