MakeMKV does it for you if it can't open a title that needs a key generated for it. You'll see in your log a location and a file ending in .TGZ. That's the dump file.

This is the problem Makemkv doen't generate it...I have to stop the rip because after 20 minutes working, the time to finish go up to infinite ( I mean a lot of hours), maybe this is the problem?

Then I would guess that MakeMKV already knows your disk's key, and is having a different problem. What does MakeMKV's log output say?

I'm currently testing it on another computer. I have two, and I normally use the old one to save all my movies and rip them. On the other one, so far, it works and doesn't go crazy over time. It's very strange because I made 95% of the copies on the old one and never had any problems, only with Casino Royale.

The CD burner is the same and it's external, so if it works—and it seems it will—what's the problem? Maybe my older one is very slow? Now only 8 minutes left to rip it, so I think it will work...crossfinger :D

EDIT: It worked...amazing!!! So from now on, I should to rip in this computer to avoid some problems

I just tried for this movie and it says volume key is unknown.

Should I just try the disc in makemkv every so often to see if the key has been updated? And if it is updated, I assume it will just automatically open?

Thank you

Hey bacardi98, that particular version of Clueless was added to the public keydb on June 27. If you'd like to decrypt your disc with MakeMKV you can follow my instructions here

Remember, the public keydb is distinct from MakeMKV's native title support.

Hey Shaneacook1989, it is possible that your particular variant is distinct from bacardi98's. If my keydb instructions don't work for you please feel free to provide a link to your disc dump file.
