Cant decrypt 4k UHD
Re: Cant decrypt 4k UHD
That's the relevant bit from the log. The optical drive has to support LibreDrive to be able to rip UHDs.
Please post the MakeMKV details about your drive. Hopefully the firmware can be flashed to support LibreDrive. There's a well maintained guide for flashing: Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide

Re: Cant decrypt 4k UHD
Libredrive must be enabled to be able to read UHD discs, so yes, you must flash it.rubiks1 wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 4:12 pmThanks for the support. I am new to this so please bear with me. Details from makemkv below

I assume your drive has SVC NB12 on the sticker underneath? If so, flash it with BP60NB10 NB12 1.02-MK and you are good to go!
Cheers
