Originally purchased this set from Amazon (Steelbook) during Black Friday, but disc 1 was damaged and couldn't be fully read. The other discs had no issue and backed up just fine. Returned to Amazon and have been waiting for it to go back onsale for a decent price. Was alerted 2 weeks ago that Gruv had it for a decent price. Ordered and arrived. Discs 1, 2 and 4 have zero issues, but disc 3 gets a "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted".
Found that I was running 1.17.8 and updated. Not sure why it didn't tell me when I launched. I've been a registered licensed owner for a few years now and it usually tells you as soon as you launch if there is an update. In any case, tried both my drives to no avail. Followed Woodstock's post and sent it in.

House of the Dragon S01 Steelbook from Gruv - Disc 3 dump submitted

I did. I tried it shortly after posting and just tried it again with a new download. No luck.
I wasn't clear on how that file works though. Is it used in place of MakeMKV's internal key file system or used in parallel? If I place that file in the directory and try it, will it always look there first and then use MakeMKV's system or is overriding MakeMKV's internal key file lookup?
