Hello Administrators,
A forum member has posted
extremely large, unnecessary images on our Asmcom seller page (oddly, reviewing bags of sweets). As strange as that sounds, it appears these oversized image uploads are now
causing a storage issue on the server.
We are currently unable to access the
Asmcom Seller Page, and the following error is being displayed:
General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]
Disk full (/tmp/#sql-temptable-1b0923-9a90006-b7e64.MAI); waiting for someone to free some space... (errno: 28 "No space left on device") [1021]
An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.
Could you please
delete the offending post and associated image files to
free up storage and restore access?
Many thanks.
Asmcom

It seems like that user deleted the images that were posted and things seem to be working now?

Thank you, dcoke22, for your reply. I hope you are keeping well.
He did indeed delete the pictures and free up a significant amount of space.
Kind regards,
Asmcom

this is why years ago they told users to reach out to us directly and not post images
we dont need 5000 images of the same drive info only text and even that can be avoided if they email us directly or follow the provided guides.

I would like to add...
For those posting their .TGZ files here (rather than using a service and providing a link to them), we will go back to removing the TGZ files after they've been processed by the people that need them.
I started a bit of clean-up tonight, and found files that have been downloaded several hundred times... when there are only a handful of people who need them.
That isn't a problem if they're posted off-forum; there was a report earlier today that no one could access the forum because the attachments were "full".
So, be a nice person and, if your upload has been handled by the keydb people, remove your attached file(s) if you managed to post them as an attachment. You can leave the file name, just clear out the attachment itself to save us time.
