Linux support via wine?

Post by ggking7 » Mon Feb 23, 2009 4:32 pm

Has the author of MakeMKV considered making it work on Linux via wine? I'd love to run it on my system

The native linux version will be released very soon. GUI, mkv muxer library and driveio library will be released under open-source license.

That would be so awesome, I really hope it's true. Do you have an ETA?

Well, just like Duke Nukem Forever I'd guess it's: "When it's done." :D

There's a native Linux version, so you don't need Wine.

Since it runs under Linux, why would you need to use Wine support?

As for the beta key, the program is still under development. Many of us opted to support the development YEARS ago, through registration. We don't have to periodically get a beta key.
