Re: Recommended drives for non-UHD use

I've been reading posts recommending Verbatim 43888 to folks in the UK/Europe, and it looks like it's currently available in the US as well on Amazon. Modern Verbatim 43888 drives are likely to contain an LG BU40N drive. I don't know how many of the earlier models based on the Pioneer BD-UD04 drive...

Re: The Amateur 4K

Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\hipch/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v77_The_Amateur_C6AE.tgz Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. C:\Users\hipch\.MakeMKV\ in your case) and restarting MakeMKV? If this doesn't work, could you make your TGZ dump file ...

Re: Recommended drives for non-UHD use

Considerations (in order of priority) - 1. Great at reading scratched/difficult discs 2. Speed 3. Price 4. I might start buying UHD discs in the future, so UHD support would be a bonus (I'm open to fw flashing) Buy a Pioneer drive, while you still can. Mike has already told us that all Pioneer driv...

Attached is the .tgz file.
No attachment here. You need to upload your TGZ dump file into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive, and then reply with a public download link.

Attaching dump file. Would be very grateful if you could add it to keydb.cfg.
Can you also adjust the file's "Share" option in Google Drive so that people can access it please?

Have emailed over a tgz, but also attaching it here if anyone can help!
Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV?

Re: Dump submitted for Star Trek III: The Search for Spock

Sure thing, here you go. Thanks, but I think this disk is already in the public KEYDB.cfg file: 0xC417FF2ED8D242CE75DA0AAED46EF765641B5801 = STAR_TREK_III_TSFS_UHD (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock) | D | 2021-06-15 | ... Did you copy the KEYDB.cfg file into the correct directory? It should be p...

MKB20_v76_Star_Trek_III-_The_Search_for_Spock_ 7713 Could you make this TGZ dump file available please, e.g. by uploading into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive, and then providing a download link? This would allow people to try to add your disk to the public KEYDB database. And could you also provide...

Second disc in Vinegar Syndrome release wouldn't rip, dump MKB_v81_VSA054B_7918 submitted! Odd that you would need to submit a dump file for a non-UHD MKBv81 disk?!
