Re: Flash Gordon 40th Anniversary 4K (Studio Canal)
I have an LG-BU40N and I also have problems reading the disc. My drive won't simply recognize it. But, makemkv, recognizes it. Right now, I'm ripping the UHD to my drive. Hope it doesn't "kill" my drive or whatever, as I've read here, and it rips without errors. Has anyone managed to make ...

Re: How can I play UHD on the fly on my pc?
An alternate solution is to rip instead to play it on-the-fly. In Makemkv you can rip to folder and then play it. You can also then make an ISO with Imgburn and load the ISO with VitualCloneDrive. But that's not on-the-fly. Yes, thanks, I know about that. I've already ripped one UHD but I don't wan...

How can I play UHD on the fly on my pc?
Hello. I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. (please move it if it is) In the past I could play some UHD discs with MPC-HC or VLC but now it seems impossible. I have an external drive LG-BU40N with firmware v1.03mk. My pc's specs: Motherboard: Gigabyte Z590 Vision G, CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K 3...

Re: Stand By Me 4k aacs 2.1/c v70
I'm sorry if this is the wrong thread to post but I just bought the UK 4K Bluray of this film. I understand there is another protection in this disc, and when I try to play it on the fly with VLC i get pixelation every few seconds. Is there anything I can do, to play this film without this problem? ...

Bought an LG-BU40N with firmware V1.03mk.
Excellent service, the drive arrived safely, and behaves as it should.
I started burning Bluray discs and also I bought my first 4K Bluray, which plays with VLC and MPC-HC.
Thank you very much!

Re: LG-BU40N, Leawo Bluray player and HDR
Never mind my previous post. I installed 64 bit Java and now it works! (it seems I had installed the 32 bit version).
Thank you again asmcom!
(Now if MPC had this menu support too! I'm not a big fan of VLC)

Thank you for your reply.
I have the latest update of java installed but still there is no menu support in VLC.
How do I find what Java should I install?

LG-BU40N, Leawo Bluray player and HDR
Hello. I'm new to this forum and this is my first post. I'd like to play 4k discs on the fly without having to copy them with makemkv in my hard drive. I have an LG-BU40N with firmware version v1-03mk. I have used this method described here for VLC, but it doesn't work. https://forum.makemkv.com/for...
