Re: MKV gets stuck
You could try to use a different DVD opening mode to see, if that helps.
Besides, Keyfile will never help with DVDs, as it's a BluRay thing.

Re: Feature Request: Eject button
So you're running into another room, place a disc into the open tray, then go back and want the software to close the tray instead of just giving it a slight nudge while you're there anyway? (never hurt my drive in many years so far, if someone wants to comment on that. Plus there's still the open/c...

Re: extract main title from full backup?
You have to select "Open files manually" and then select the index.bdmv file inside of the bdmv folder

Re: Ripping Inside Out 2
As it is a UHD I could imagine, that Bus Encryption is a thing with this disc as well. You can circumvent this by first opening the disc with MakeMKV (as in let it examine the disc to the point where you select, what you want to rip). Then you can close MakeMKV or keep it in the background. Now when...

Re: Can i Insert a .srt file as vobsub?
Several players will just display the .srt file as subtitles as long as it has the same name as the movie file (without the extension of the movie file).

Then I am afraid you should place your question at the Handbrake Forum.

Re: Failure to open ripped folder
what happens, if you use "Open files" in MakeMKV and let it open the index.bdmv file in the BDMV folder? Does it recognize the disk itself anymore?

Re: Need a little crash course
there was always a point with the title “LibreDrive Information”, which is missing in my case! I assume because AnyDVD uses a drive filter, where any access to the drive is routed over AnyDVD. So MakeMKV cannot see the LibreDrive capabilities because AnyDVD isn't forwarding them. Why do you use bot...

Re: The Longest Yard UHD is not Serpico
MakeMKV doesn't think. It takes the information from the BluRay itself. E.g. on "Final Fantasy VII∶ Advent Children (UHD)" in the file BDMV\META\DL\bdmt_eng.xml is this information: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <disclib xmlns="urn:BDA:bdmv;disclib"> ...
