Re: Ripping 'A Discovery of Witches' Bluray Boxset
Hello Thanks for the Reply. There is also a larger option on the Discs, approximately 38GB which holds all of the Episodes on the Disk. I Ripped this and then used MKVToolnix to Split the File Before Chapters which seems to work much better, also the resulting Files are Named 01, 02 etc. which makes...

Ripping 'A Discovery of Witches' Bluray Boxset
Hello all I Hope you are Well. I have just Ripped my First TV Show from Bluray, the Bluray Boxset of 'A Discovery of Witches'. Everything is done and seems to be working, I am just curious if there is a better way than what I have done. I Ripped the Individual Episodes, there were 3 or 4 per Disk de...

Re: Avatar 3 Disc Collectors Edition and Forced Subtitles
Hello Thanks for the Reply. Just curious but why not just Set the MKV Flags for the Subtitles in MakeMKV? Select the Subtitle on the Left, Select MKV Flags from the Drop Down Menu at the Top and enter D for Default or F for Forced, it has worked here. Doing the above has allowed me to finally get th...

Re: Avatar 3 Disc Collectors Edition and Forced Subtitles
Hello
Thanks for the Reply.
If it is a case of the Forced Flag not being Set on the Forced Subtitle Tracks, is it just a simple matter of Enabling the Forced Flag for the Forced Subtitle Tracks in MakeMKV prior to Ripping?
Thanks in advance
Kevin

Avatar 3 Disc Collectors Edition and Forced Subtitles
Hello all Firstly, apologies for another Avatar Thread but I have Searched the Forum and am unable to find an Answer to my Issue. I have the '3 Disc Collectors Edition' which has the Theatrical, Special and Collectors Edition on the Same Disc. I have tried Ripping each Edition, Selecting the PGS Eng...

Unable to Add Year to the Output File Name Template
Hello all I have my Output File Name Template set as: {NAME1}{-:CMNT1}{-:DT}{title:+DFLT} This sets the Filename as 'Example Movie.mkv'. I would like to Add the Year to this so that the File Name resembles 'Example Movie (Year).mkv'. No matter what I try I can not get the Year to be Added, I just ge...

Re: Setting Default Audio Track
Hello
Thanks for the Reply.
I did not know that could be done in MakeMKV prior to creating the File, I shall have to try for the next Movie that I need to Set the Default Audio Track for.
Thanks for the Tip.

Setting Default Audio Track
Hello all
I am working my way through some older Blu-Rays and have come across a few that have, for example:
DTS-HD MSTR 7.1
DTS Surround 5.1
I have a 5.1 System, so is it possible to Set the Default Audio Track to 5.1 and not the 7.1?
Thanks in advance
Kevin

Re: X-Men - The Last Stand (2006) Audio Track Selection
Hello
Thanks for the Reply.
I used MKVToolNix to Remove the DTS-HD MA 6.1 Audio Track leaving just the DTS 5.1 Surround Audio Track.
The strange is that Plex still shows the Movie as having DTS-ES 6.1 which is just odd, unless I am missing something.
Thanks
Kevin

X-Men - The Last Stand (2006) Audio Track Selection
Hello all I am being stumped by One Blu-ray, X-Men - The Last Stand (2006). When I Open the Disc in MakeMKV, under Audio I see: 20241023_191018.jpg I do not have a Surround Back Speaker so I do not want the 6.1 Track, however, no matter what I do, I always get the 6.1 Track in the resulting File reg...
