Success! I have resolved the issue. Sometimes you can't see the trees for the forest.
The disk was coated with some kind of junk. It took several cleaning attempts but it finally worked. Thank all for your help.

Turn on debugging if you haven't already... The log will help. FAQ in signature has more information. MakeMKV Stops Halfway Through
Each time I att5empt to burn a BD disk the program stops halfway through the process. I know this info is vague but I will provide more if I know what to get.
