Poldark season 3 - Playlist obfuscation
Another year, another Season of Poldark and the same problem: playlist obfuscation. See: https://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15452 Does anyone know what the correct MPLS are for each of these disks? Number of parts (episodes) for UPC 841887034135, each part is about 1 hour, total ...

Re: Poldark season 2 - Playlist obfuscation
Here are the correct MPLS for each disk: D1: 205, 988, 990 D2: 860, 733, 316, 697 D3: 965, 898, 482 Verified working. I am late to the game but I can say these MPLS are correct. Only the order needed updating: Disc #1 should be: 205, 990, 988 . I did not parallel-play Disc & Extract but the tim...

Re: Blu-ray/DVD drive locks up - requires reboot
... happens during ripping. not sure it is the same bug, but let's look deeper. You are not alone - I have encountered a disc which hung everything up - had to force the power down. I have a 2015 MacBook Pro 13" w/16GB Ram/512 GB SSD/OS X 10.12.3 and have used both a pioneer bdr-xdo5s and now ...

Re: What is the best internal blu-ray reader for ripping?
Won't say best but will say "works just fine". No issues.
It is a Lite-On (iHBS212) bought many years ago.
Spec'd at 12x, I've seen 8+MB/s typical on Blu-ray and DVD.
Installed internal on a MacPro. Works fine.

Re: Auto Eject
is there any way to get makemkv to auto eject after it is done saving the titles ... I will add my voice to the "YES" group. Like most users, I load a disc, select the title(s), "Make MKV", "Eject." Never have I selected an additional title to rip. This option would el...

Ping>> Blu-ray/DVD drive locks up - requires reboot
Waking up this issue up again! It is still there. This system has been upgraded from Lion to El Capitan, same issue. Maybe worse - it also hung after a dvd rip waited too long to eject. It hung using the original system drive (HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GH41N, Firmware Revision: PQ06). I believe the OS is hold...

Re: Feature Request: Toggle All
It's not something that gets used enough to make a button, I would think. Make a new button or Menu item - no. Change the "Eject Disc" to a "Eject Disc" - "Load Disc" toggle - yes! In latest testing I had to do the following over a hundred times: 1 Load Disc in Finder ...

Re: Blu-ray/DVD drive locks up - requires reboot
Which version of OS X? Or is it old behavior that has never been addressed? It's in my signature below. I am in the process of bringing up another boot disk which will be a minimal configuration to test this and other problems (bugs?) I have seen. I will take it through the upgrades to the latest v...

[Resolved] Re: Blu-ray/DVD drive locks up - requires reboot
Marked as Resolved, not Solved since it is Apple who must fix if they care. Update: the hang is an Apple bug. If left too long, the current user will be hung and may not logout completely. Also if another user attempts to access or eject it, they are in the same condition. As a positive note - I not...

Re: Blu-ray/DVD drive locks up - requires reboot
Other apps can control it AFTER it stops responding to MakeMKV? That is unusual... No - other apps have no problems with the drive before, during or after. After MakeMKV gets it hung - reboot is only option. I would be helpful if someone running 1.8+ could test this now. I am in the process of brin...

Re: Blu-ray/DVD drive locks up - requires reboot
Sounds like the operating system is losing track of the drive. Doubtful - all my other apps work fine with it. No problems. Is it an external drive, connected by USB? A lot of times, they can be "reset" simply by unplugging them and plugging them back in. Nope - mounted in the lower bay j...

Blu-ray/DVD drive locks up - requires reboot
Been hitting this for some time now (~year). If I leave the disc in the drive after a rip for a long time (?? ~10 min) it hangs. MakeMKV will not eject it, neither will the OS. Maybe a related anomaly: I must load the disc before launching, wait a bit, rip, eject from MakeMKV (NOT the OS), change di...

Re: MKV 1.9.1 Optical Drive handling bizarre & locking up
Open disk will be greyed out unless the operating system reports a disk has been loaded into one of the optical drives. The most likely reason it stays greyed out is that OS X hasn't detected it being inserted. Note: while trying to document this better, I have had to force power-off the system mul...

MKV unable to recover from"cancel the current operation"
Both MKV and optical drive hung and unusable until reboot. This has happened in two ways: 1 - any attempt to "Stop" any operation with the "Stop Hand" and "Yes" 2 - after selecting a second title to rip after the first completed successfully, it hung after ~30% in (prog...
