Error code 525

Is the main website down? I am getting http error 525 on all devices and browsers.

Apparently, yes. But, we don't have control over that (only Mike does), so we can only guess.

In some cases (specifically forum thread links) this can be worked around by modifying the URL. If it is a forum thread, then the URL should start with hzzps://forum.makemkv.com/forum... (changed the "tt" to "zz" to avoid it being auto-linked) but some links go instead to hzzps://makemkv.com/forum/... (relying on subsequent redirection to go to the correct location). In this case, adding the "forum." prefix to the URL manually should bypass the error.
