Hey there, I was just wondering how people make firmware. Like how did Mike make custom 4K DRIVE Firmware????

I doubt anyone "makes firmware"; they merely patch existing firmware to remove the "DO NOT DO THIS!!!" tests that the original firmware authors insert "for protection". That's why there are sooooo many versions out there on the net.
