External Buffalo BRXL-16U3 (BH16NS48) flashable?

Hi, I still have an external Buffalo BRXL-16U3 drive that I bought in Germany in 2014.
Am I correct in thinking that there is no custom firmware for UHD for this drive?

You can't add attachments here.
No, your drive uses the old MT1939 drive platform and is not capable of reading UHD discs.

Okay, thanks for confirming my hunch...
Then I'll get rid of the drive and look for a suitable replacement.
