Buy new optical drive for only ripping dvd and blu-ray

Hello, I asked this a while ago but then my life was derailed with personal tragedy. I am wanting a drive or two, internal if possible but ok with external if they are as dependable as the internal ones. I will only be ripping dvd and bluray discs. if the newer ones available do more and that is all that is available ok. What source is reliable and dependable that is recommended and what price am I looking at.
