Using v 1.9.1 it appers this issue has been around for a while as I found this post from years ago about the same issue http://www.makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5358
Anyways, every time you try to convert it to MKV it crashes during analysis phase (before getting to the part where you select titles). This is a retail USA DVD. Other programs like DVD Shrink and DVD Fab read the disc just fine.
