lossless 3D with makemkv

Hi to everybody and thanks for offering and supporting this great forum !

Since I haven't found anything specific, I want to asked the forum members:

I have made a MKV (makemkv) from a 3D BD. As well I used DVDFAB to create an ISO from the same disk and mounted this file with Damontools.
When I playback these files with PowerDVD14, I really don't see a difference in Picture quality.

Would you agree that both files are lossless compared to the original 3D BD? Since I don't want to burn to any optical disc, just copying to my harddrive, it would be more comfortable to go with MKV. Am I right?

The file created by makemkv will be 100% lossless. I have no experience of dvdfab so can't comment on that.
