Batch converter/command line converter?

Post by freak1 » Wed Sep 03, 2014 5:40 pm

Hi.

I have en huge collection of blurays i have transferred to my PC as ISOs.

I like to convert them all to mkv to play them with plex.

Doing them one at a times takes a long time so i like to automate it somehow.

My goal is to take a list of isos. Only keep DTS-HD or Dolby HD audiotrak in english, english subtitles and subtitles in my own language. And store that in one mkv file with the same name as the iso file.

Is this possible somehow?

One ISO won't necessarily have one movie in it. MKV files cannot contain menus, so it's going to be one title per MKV.

Are the ISOs already decrypted? If so, there is a batch converter script for Handbrake that will do what you're asking for, while also compressing the video.

And there is also http://makemkv.com/forum2/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6556

I am using this one with great success. Make sure you have your default profile tweaked and ready to go before you start the conversion batching (I didn't :P).
