Problems with Lost - Season Two

Post by cpinmo » Mon Jul 02, 2012 8:59 pm

Hi Everyone,

This is my first time posting, so please excuse me if I forget to include any information you need. I've been using MakeMKV for about a month, and have used it on a little over 100 dvds. For the past few weeks, I've encountered problems with only one set of discs - Lost, Season Two. Now, the rest of the seasons worked just fine, but when I try Season Two, it doesn't work. I've included a snippet of the log below.

For some background, I'm using MakeMKV for Mac, and before loading a file into the program, I rip using RipIt.

On every disc of Season Two (except the bonus features disc, strangely enough) I'll receive the following examples, but it will continue on almost indefinitely. Note that this is prior to even getting the prompt to input a file name for saving, etc. This happens simply at loading of a file. I let the program run for 5 days, and it just kept incrementally increasing by one before finally crashing. Below you'll see a snippet of the log. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!!

Charlie

Apparently this is a bug. Please send IFo files per http://www.makemkv.com/faq/item/8/catid/6 . Also, try changing "dvd structure protection removal method" in preferences and see if it helps.

Thanks, Mike. I just emailed over the information. I switched the removal method from "auto" to "CellTrim" and that seems like it worked.
