Justified, Season 2
No matter how I get into the discs, MakeMKV shows too many episodes, none the right lengths -- and with the chapters all out of order.
Is there a fix for this, or am I doing something wrong?
I had a similar problem with the third season of Sons of Anarchy that I was never able to resolve, but I haven't tried those discs as recently.

Re: Justified, Season 2
I ripped these just after Christmas. If I remember correctly there are 2 versions of each episode. One with the "previously on Justified" and one without it. You can see which is which from looking at the segment map when you click on each title in MakeMKV.

I wish that were the case, but none of the runtimes come even close to the published times on IMDB or Apple's App Store. Plus, as I said, the chapters are all out of order.

You can figure out the correct title numbers by checking in a DVD player application:
https://forum.handbrake.fr/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15874
MakeMKV shows the "Source Title ID" in the lower-right panel, which will correspond to the title number as reported by DVD player apps.

Wow -- an awful lot of trouble to go through to rip even just a dozen episodes. No other fix?
Re: Justified, Season 2
Not that much trouble - a few minutes to check which 12 titles you want (play episode, check title, back to menu, etc.), then a few minutes to select them in the MakeMKV interface (go through the title list, check the titles you want and uncheck the titles you don't want).vodkapundit wrote:Wow -- an awful lot of trouble to go through to rip even just a dozen episodes. It's the easiest and safest workaround.

Nothing is broken. MakeMKV is showing you what's on the disc.vodkapundit wrote:No other fix?
Every episode by itself and every episode with a "previously on Justified" opening.

Here are some screenshots, explaining what I'm talking about. I'm going to assume you're still reading this thread and I'm not just shouting into the darkness. Lets look at some screenshots shall we?
So there we have it.
For the record, I don't care how long a website says an episode should be. Who timed it? Is that with or without adverts? What about PAL speed up? What about edits made for TV? You have the disc in your hand. WHY are you looking at websites for information about it? Don't answer that, it's rhetorical.

The help is much appreciated. The attitude, not so much.

Think of my help and advice as like a package holiday deal; yeah, you're on holiday is a nice place, but you can't tell where the smell is coming from or if the person that keeps walking up and down the hallway outside your hotel room shouting in a language you don't understand works here, or is homeless.

Duh… this advice is only applicable to DVDs, not Blu-ray discs. Sorry for the confusion.Romansh wrote:You can figure out the correct title numbers by checking in a DVD player application:
